De versie van de Walker Brothers, ook uit de VS maar woonachtig in Engeland, moest het doen in het land van hun woonplaats, maar een hit is het niet geworden. Een schitterende cover niettemin. Voor de liefhebbers zoals ik, en later op de Northern Floor.
En wie heeft er goed geluisterd? Nee, het filmpje staat – godbetert, weer – niet op YT, rechten en zo – hoor het na deze twee bovenstaande en het refrein klinkt ook echt als “Living above your head”.

Hiermee is ook de reden gegeven waarom ik Prince niet direct op handen draag, ook al heeft hij een sound ontwikkeld en daarmee anderen gelanceerd. Little red Corvette.
