Het Britse hooggerechtshof is van oordeel dat de schorsing van het Lagerhuis door de regering Johnson onwettig is. Het is nu aan John Bercow, de voorzitter van het Lagerhuis, om te bepalen wat er gaat gebeuren. Dat laat zich tamelijk eenvoudig raden: ongetwijfeld is Bercow op dit moment bezig zijn toga af te stoffen.
