Spencer’s vroegere comrade in arms Milo Yiannopoulos heeft om hem moverende redenen een audiotape op internet gegooid waar een tierende en vloekende Spencer hevig tekeer gaat tegen POC, Joodse mensen en – uiteraard ‘links’. Spencer was responding to the attacks he was getting after Heather Heyer was murdered by a white supremacist at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville – a rally that Spencer organized.

The audio is disturbing. The racial slurs Richard Spencer throws around are hard to listen to. The anger he displays is the frustrated cry of a man who genuinely believes these vile things.
Yet, CNN & others downplay the seriousness of his racism.
