Hoewel het de naamdag is van Franciscus van Assisi, patroonheilige van “de dieren” – toemaar, en daarom is het ook Werelddierendag -, toch een lied met de titel van de naam van de vorige, nog levende paus. Het betekent trouwens “gezegend” en er worden zegeningen afgeroepen door de Strawbs, 1972. En het personaliseren van de zon mag dan weer in de geest van Franciscus heten.
